This morning it was actually mr DHL who came to deliver.
After the freebord riding Andre decided not to buy one, but instead decided he wants rollerblades. And he wants it right now! So he goes off researching where he can buy the specific rollerblades he wants and what it will cost. I keep telling him to wait until next year when his mom comes to visit and can bring his rollerblades which he left in Cape Town. But no, he wants it and he wants it NOW.
We worked out that having his rollerblades sent with DHL (which cost a small fortune, but necessary with a husband who can't wait) will still be cheaper than buying a new pair here. So Andre's mom sent it on Wednesday last week. It was a public holiday there on Thursday so it only left on Friday. And we received it this morning. That's quite impressive. Exactly 3 days as they promised. Making me feel slightly better about the money spent.
AND there was a surprise in the box for me too! Two magazines from SA!
