A while back I received an email offering me the chance to review a product of my choice from CSN Stores. They have online stores where you can find everything from cookware to ceiling lights to furniture.
Both Andre and I looove toasted sandwiches so I'm hoping to buy and do a review of a great new sandwich press. We haven't had a sandwich press since we left South Africa so whenever we visit someone who has one we make sure we get to have a toasted sandwich or two! In Switzerland we looked at some but we don't like those that press the bread into triangles (and squeezes off half of your sandwich since sliced bread has become bigger than toasters). We didn't find a panini press we liked in Switzerland and now that we're in England we're looking forward to having toasted sandwiches again. It's the little things we miss!
So I've been looking at this one by Russel Hobbs and this one by Breville. Andre would like totally "flat" toasted sandwiches without the Russel Hobbs grill lines and I reckon the flat one might be easier to clean too.

Being deprived from toasted sandwiches for such a long time I'm going to get creative and see how many different panini press recipes I can try out and will let you know how that turns out too with photos of course!
