Day 75 in lockdown

Friday 5th June 2020
Weather: Cloudy, windy and rainy with a bit of sunshine. No snow.

Isabella found something on amazon she wanted to buy and surprised me at her money recognition and counting skills as well as adding up and working out the quickest way to count out 99p. Maths lesson done! 

I did  manage to trick her into one of her actual maths tasks which wasn't too hard work today. We had to look for numbers while out on a walk (and record them but we left that bit out) and estimate how far 100 steps would get us and then count to check.

English was the -ea- sound as in beak. We had a word game to play and three sentences to write.

Never got to reading. Again. Or handwriting. Oh, she also had a mindful task to do today which was yoga which she did while I made her dinner. I do like the mindful tasks.

Besides that we also went for an hour's play on the field with a friend. It started to rain though so we had to hide under the trees. Isabella cycled and collected treasures from under the trees. And we had lots of playtime with Tabby. Isabella even built Tabby an obstacle course.

After dinner and she and Andre are currently out (past bedtime!) doing a geocache.
