On Saturday we went to see the movie Avatar in 3D. WOW! It was amazing! I now want to see any other 3D movies. I'm looking forward to the new Shrek and Alice in Wonderland in 3D.
This was our first time to the cinema in Switzerland. We never used to go to the movies much in SA either. We prefer to watch movies at home where we can lie on the couch in front of a fire and pause when we need snacks and hot chocolate. Well, that would be me needing snacks and hot choc. But this was so so good, I didn't even think of snacks. We were so excited to be in a cinema that we took pictures before the movie started! These glasses are something to see :-)
In Switzerland most movies are in English with German and French subtitles which is nice for us. Movies here have intermission. The movie will stop at a random place just past half way through and the lights will come on. Toilet and snack break just like at home! You could see who were Swiss or have done this before - they brought their own snacks for half time!

Juanita, yes not the type of story I would choose the see, but after all the hype I thought I better. And the special effects, colour and 3-D-ness was great!
