In the end it was quite simple really. It just took us a while to figure out what to do since Andre did it differently posting to his wordpress blog.
Ok, so open your video in Vimeo (where we store our videos, like YouTube, but I like Vimeo better). Then in the top right hand corner of your video it says Share and then below that Embed. Click on Embed, highlight the whole code and paste that into your blog.
There you go! Easy as pie! :-)
I just wanted to thank you for posting this as I couldn't figure out how to post my videos. A google search pulled up your blog AND ironically enough my fiance lives in Zug. I'll likey be moving there next spring from the US after we're married. Perhaps then I can join the Swiss Expat Bloggers! Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help :-)
ReplyDeleteWow that's a very long distance relationship you're having at the moment! All the best with your move and do join the Swiss Expat Bloggers when you get here!

Oh dear, there must be something wrong... When you click on preview or post does it not show the video then?
ReplyDeleteThanks Dear!
ReplyDeleteI must be doing something wrong because the tex just appears , not the video..... strange
ReplyDeleteOn the top left corner of the compose box are two buttons: "Compose" and "HTML." You'll have to click on the HTML button then paste the embed code there, as Anneliese suggested.
