Day 4: Eching

We left Heidelberg after breakfast at the hotel. It was again around 10am when we finally got on the bike. 3 1/2 hours and about 220miles, but with rest stops in between we arrived at 3pm.

It's a long long road!

 

 

 

We went straight to my Mom and Juergen's office. It's my mom's birthday today so we had coffee and cake with them at the office and then mom came home with us.

 

My mom was so kind to have a whole new little wardrobe ready here for me! She knew we couldn't pack much and would want to put everything in the wash once we get here so she ordered me some things. What a lovely treat!!

 

 

We relaxed with mom at home until Juergen came home and then went to visit his parents who also live in Eching. We had a glass of champagne with them and then went out to dinner. Andre chose German food above Indian- that rarely happens! He again had a veal schnitzel of course!

Tomorrow we want to go for a massage and then we need to have a look at the maps and decide how long we're staying here and where to next.
