My name is Anneliese. I'm originally from South Africa. I grew up in Melkbosstrand, a small seaside town on the West Coast, 30 km (18 miles) from Cape Town.
I married my husband, André in August 2008 at my home with only our parents present. We then had another wedding and reception with the rest of our families and friends in January 2009 before moving to Switzerland.
After 11 wonderful months in Switzerland we decided to move to England and the plan is to stay here permanently. We've had enough big moves to last us a while now!

I enjoy cooking and baking and trying out new things in the kitchen and will share some of the more successful recipes with you. With lots of pictures. Most of the pictures are taken by Andre, he knows what he's doing behind his camera, while I just click away hoping for the best!
I also enjoy gardening - well, I enjoy having a pretty garden so that basically means I have to enjoy gardening to get that end result!
